Lake Mead offers awesome bike rides

Interbike host a brisk 25-mile bike ride to Lake Mead. Great views and very hilly. Suffice to say I am so exhausted. It was all downhill and then all up and up and up hill. I got sunburned but enjoyed being on my mountain bike for more then 40 minutes for the first time since buying the bike a few years ago. After getting cleaned up I stepped on the scale and weighed in at 255.8 lbs. which is the least amount I have weighed in quite a few years. The Shakeology seems to be working as long as I stay with the plan.

Shakeology is working for me

There may be something to Shakeology afterall. I dared to step on the scale today and there was good news — for the first time in a many years my weight is under 260 pounds. I logged in at 259.4 pounds today and this is pretty darn good for me. I was not sure I could pull this off since I don't exercise very much. I walk the dogs and I lift some weights and maybe twice a weak I actually try a workout DVD. Thanks to my Coach Cristy, I am starting to feel healthier. You can too just by trying Shakeology.

Hot Summer Daze


I am a work in progress. Loose five gain three but the Shakeology taste good and keeps me from eating more than I should. It is almost too hot to jog here but I try to hop on a treadmill or on my bike. Do you want some Beachbody information.

Congrats to Spain for the WC win.

Great win by Spain in the FIFI World Cup final. Netherlands had plenty of chance but it is tight game with lots of yellow cards. I was able to lift some free weights during the first half of the match. I am trying to not just sit and watch sports. I found my old weights tucked away in the closet and garage and now I am adding some weights to my TV watching routine.

Some Results

I am not sure if I should be glad about my results this week. According to my scale I lost 2.6 pounds in one week. Does not sound like much but at least I am going in the right direction. I need to increase my workout. Small progress so far.
