Things that cost $4.00...

Things that cost $4.00 or more... that I see people buy every day:

Starbucks Coffee

Cigarettes

A six pack of beer

A draft beer at a pub, bar, or brewery

A mixed drink or cocktail

“Value” meals at fast food restaurants

Energy drink + Candy bar

Ice cream from Cold Stone (or somewhere similar)

All things that are either detrimental to one’s health and well-being; really, just plain bad for you.

When I first heard about Shakeology, admittedly, I thought, “It seems a little pricey.” Once I looked into it and found out what the product consists of and how beneficial it can be to someone’s health, it made sense to me to give it a try. When I received my first bag of Chocolate Shakeology I mixed some up with milk in a blender and said, “Wow.” I turned to my wife and said, “Jaki, you’ve got to try this.” I had never had a “health shake” that tasted that good.

After drinking the shakes for a few weeks, I noticed a difference in the way that I felt. Most notable for me was the increased sustained energy and better digestion, and all together - I just felt better.

In the few months after I became a Coach with Team Beachbody I began to meet new friends (online and in person) that had truly compelling experiences with Shakeology. There’s Juan “Landy” Urquiaga that suffered two heart attacks then was able to get his cholesterol under control with Shakeology; and there’s Ellen Fuentes-Bevins that was able to curb her vertigo by taking the shakes daily. But, I think one of the greatest, and most touching, is Cammie Lusk’s story (see link below) of how Shakeology has helped her with MS.

I think of all the success stories out there with Shakeology; the before and after photos, the homemade and YouTube videos, and the personal stories like the one’s mentioned above. Then I think of the before and afters from the list at the top. Someone’s lungs before and after smoking. A liver after years of drinking. And maybe the greatest before and after story of fast food, the movie “Supersize Me.” If millions of people can pay more than $4 a day to potentially kill themselves, isn’t it a lot more rational to spend $4 a day (or less if you’re a Coach) on something that can prolong your life and improve your health?

After personally having Shakeology every day and feeling the benefits, and also seeing the positive impact it has had on the lives of my friends, I can say that at four dollars a serving – It is a BARGAIN!
