Day 31-Phase II P90X

Kicking off Phase II today with Chest, Shoulders & Triceps...One of my favorite workouts. Have really packed on the lean muscle this 3rd go-around!

Back on Track

It has been awhile since I posted on my Profile page. Life threw me a few more curve balls, but I have been back at it now with my workouts for the past 6 weeks. I am going into my recovery week of Phase I P90X. This go around, I seem to have packed on a few more pounds of LBM, than the first time I did P90X in May, 2009.

Since I have already posted quite a few "after" photos on this page, I plan to post my new photo's after this round of P90X.

Keep digging deeper and pressing play!

Surgery Date

I will go in for a Hernia repair surgery on January 6, 2010...I am looking at about a two week recovery period. The good news is, that I am in the best shape of my life going into this surgery, so my re-hab time can be cut literally in half! My plan is to back my calories off to a maintenance level & do what I can during my recovery. This will be a good break for me anyways, as I have been working out consistently for the past 7 1/2 months.

I am going to post my latest photo's this weekend...They will BLOW YOU AWAY!

Bump In the Road

I discovered I have a Hernia and I will need surgery to repair it...I was two weeks shy of completing "Insanity", but the beast got me! This will just be a small little bump in the road and my doctor told me that because I am in such good physical health now, I will be able to cut the normal rehab time in half!... This is yet another example to me of how valuable and important it is to have your health to weather the little storms that pass through. I am looking at this as another challenge to further my ability to reach my goals no matter what, so "bring it"!

Day #19- "Insanity"

Yesterday, I did a P90X workout (Chest, triceps & Shoulders), instead of "Cardio Recovery". I felt like I needed a complete break from any Cardio & wanted to get back to pumping good ole Iron again...I was glad I did as I had a great workout. I am a little sore today, but good sore!

Will be doing "Cardio Power & Resistance" this afternoon...My body weight has remained steady at 175 lbs, but the waist line is still shrinking. Down just below a 32" waist. The bad thing is I am once again needing to downsize my pants from 34", which I bought two months ago. I guess it is a good problem to have now?

My Nutrition is really dialed in now & I am able to really push through the "Insanity" workouts. Beachbody contacted me last week and they want to put me in an upcoming success book for the Sim In 6 program! Very Awesome!
