Red Dress

I tried on the red dress that Lloyd got me for Christmas. The size is actually right, but I do not look good in it. I need to reduce my obliques. When I do that, I might actually be a couple of sizes smaller. Right now I fit fine in a 10. I feel I can get to an 8. I must return the dress though. However, I was able to wear the slim cut shirt he got for me a couple of weeks ago. I am making progress. I still feel I need to step up the workouts. Maybe running three times a week on top of doing Insanity will help. This is the start of another week. So I will see. Nutrition is key.

P90X2

I received my copy of P90X2 this week. I am still doing Insanity, but decided to combine the two routines. Tonight I did the Recovery + Mobility dvd. My lower back was very tight and now it feels much better. I need to do this routine at least a couple times a week. My right hamstring (the one I pulled a few months ago) feels better also. And I still burned calories !

Insanity Update Week 4

I have not lost much weight doing Insanity and I am in week 4. Some of my clothes (shirts) seem to fit a little looser. Jeans, like the ones I have on today do not fit looser. My abs do not seem to be shrinking. When I stand up, I think I look better. When I sit down though, about two inches of fat drape over the top of my pants. This is frustrataing. I do not know if I should move to the higher level of Insanity so I am burning more calories or if I should cut back on my calories. The plan says I should be eating 1900 calories and I am rarely eating that much. Is that the problem? Oh well, I will workout again today. Hopefully, about 10 pounds will drop off at the end of this week.

Anniversary Vacation

We just got back from our vacation yesterday. We celebrated our 6th year together! We had a fun and full time! Now that we are back. We are both back "on the wagon". We didn't go to the gym this morning. I found out early last week that around 9am even the free weight room is crowded. It's not like that between 7-8am. I don't like getting up early though to workout. I do like my workout being over with though. This week I'm going to start working out at 6pm. We'll see how that goes. I need to lose 30 lbs and I would like to lose it by my brthday which is in about 6wks.

We did some shopping over vacation. I can't get in the clothes I bought. I couldn't even get in the swimsuit I bought FOR vacation. It's all very embarassing. I don't know what is worse buying something too small hoping you'll fit into it OR buying something too big that you can wear because it hangs off of you. Guess something's telling me to workout and eat right.

Now that I've "graduated" from therapy. I should have no excuse. Going to therapy though gave me a reason to go out. I had somewhere to go, an appt, people to see and talk to. Most everybody I know is working during the day. Those who aren't have kids and not alot of free time to meet just to chat. I should be looking for another JOB. What I'd really like though is to become an Emerald coach. That doesn't look like it will happen any time soon.

I've bought tens of thousands of leads. I've made hundreds of calls. I even had a fit club for about a month. Noone is interested in what I'm "selling". How is it so many others are diamond coaches, let alone multiple diamond level coaches? Is there a way that this business works using online web tools? Can I use Twitter or Facebook and get a coach or two? Can I just break even?

Received Breville Juicer

Last week we got the juicer we won from Quibids. We were so excited. We went out the same day and purchased a few vegetables to test the juicer. The next day we purchased enough raw food for almost a week.  I found it actually amazing that we can drink all the raw foods we would never eat (i.e beets, kale, swiss chard, ginger) in a month let alone a few days. It doesn't take that long to juice and the clean up is fairly quick too. This week starts a new "round". Hopefully, I'll start to see some weight loss. I ordered a couple swimsuits and want to look good in them.

On another note, I am recovering well from my hamstring pull over a month ago. The injury was pretty severe. It ended my season. This past weekend I was to compete in the National Masters Track Championship. I am just starting to get back into working out again. I'm using a foam roller to help with recovery. I am doing alot of different Beachbody workouts. I like so many of them it is hard for me to just follow one program's plan.
