still somewhere in the atlantic, and we're rolling about 10 degrees both ways, but i somehow managed to hold all my yoga poses today!! WAHOOO!!
i was really excited because yesteray, i discovered that i can do a full-on plyo pushup, clap and all!! and today, i managed to do my very very very first one-armed pushup! i tried for a second, but i just ended up doing a faceplant, and i cain't do one with my left arm, but hey... it's taken me a while, and it's been a fun and challenging journey, but i'm loving it!! look where it has gotten me!!
i'm on my ship (the maersk georgia), and i got two shipmates to join my workout!! i was thrilled!! we did turbo fire core 20, followed by hiit 15. it was really great, and i dubbed it the "maersk georgia fit club". they actually are comin back for tomorrow, and that is just AWESOME!!
followed the workout with a recovery drink, shower, then my daily shakeology. shakeology on the ship is simple. i only have greenberry with me, so it's soy milk (i cain't believe we actually have soy milk on here), water, and the green stuff. mmmm... still good. have my trusty magic bullet that i leave on board.
tomorrow, we're gonna do "cardio balance and power" from insanity. i love that workout!
was gonna do a double today... did turbofire fire 55, and that was AWESOME!! was gonna do yoga later, but my eating sked was off, and i was hungry so often!! but i burned 840 calories, and that's all right for me.
my shakeology for the day:
vanilla almond milk
chocolate shakeology
a whole lotta cayenne pepper
2 ice cubes
maybe i used a little too much cayenne, but i love spicy stuff!! sweet and spicy rocks!! thanks to fran pratoskie for the idea!!
ok, i'd really like to post on this more, so maybe i will! :-) was up in the air as to what workout to do. i know this isn't an excuse, but i'm still a little bit on hawaii time (slept til 0845 this morning, which is almost unheard of for me!!). i started out thinking i was gonna do cardio power and resistance (insanity) but ended up doing cardio abs (insanity) hiit 15 (turbofire) and then ran for 15 mins. that hit the spot!!

oj, vanilla soy, greenberry, and ALMOND BUTTER!!
didn't think i'd like it at first, but what the hey... you don't know til you try! and it's definitely one i'd try again!! :-)
monday, i will start another p90x hybrid! i go back to work late august, so i won't complete it, but i'll do it til the end...
