Starting P90X2 1-2-2012!

Hello and Happy New Year everyone!!!  2011 was a great year and I enjoyed helping many people improve their health and fitness!  2012 is upon us and I'm so excited to help even MORE people along the path to a healthier life!  I hope you will take a moment to visit my website www.HealthyHomeFitness.com where you can learn more about me, my personal fitness journey, how I can help YOU get healthier, and even how YOU can help OTHERS by joining my team of Team Beachbody COACHES!

Tomorrow I will begin a NEW JOURNEY as I start P90X2!  I'm so excited for the next few months and can't wait to see how I can change my body and reach MY fitness goals!  What are they???  Well...I want that 6 pack of ABS!  I've been fit, healthy and muscular but have NEVER had that actual 6-pack so that's my main "visual" goal.  I want to be able to do a REAL PULL-UP!  Never have gotten those either.  I injured my elbow and got a nasty case of tendonitis resulting in physical therapy and 2 cortisone shots a couple years ago.  This kept me from doing those pull-ups.  This time I'm excited to add the new "pull-up assist" that BB offers in the shop so hopefully that will help!  My other goal?  I want to get my body fat% down to 14%, although I'd LOVE to make it to 12%!

I have some great CHALLENGE GROUPS going in 2012 so if YOU want to join me in getting healthy and fit and would benefit from regular motivation and support of a GROUP, please send me an email!  I have a P90X2 Challenge group going and will have other groups going for other programs too!  I want to HELP YOU!  Ask me!!

It's landscaping season in Nebraska and that means I don't have a lot of extra time on the computer to blog, but I thought I'd share with you my other blog which has much more on it than the one here.  Follow me at www.LiftFitness.Blogspot.com !

Next round begins Sunday!

With my busy season as a landscaper, I've fallen off the "health wagon" for the past couple of months, added a few pounds and am not feeling as healthy and energetic as I should.  So, now's my time to get back on the wagon and start another round of health...

On Sunday Oct. 4th I plan to begin a combo round of P90X and Insanity.  With this combo I hope to have intense cardio to help burn fat and increase stamina and the weight and resitance work to build lean muscle.  I hope the combo will be a good one!

I will be going to the grocery store today or tomorrow to pick up a bunch of healthy eats and plan to start "batch cooking" every Sunday so I have healthy food choices ready to go each day and I don't have to worry about figuring out what I will eat each day.  When I do that it's way too easy to just grab something unhealthy because it's quick and I end up sabatoging my progress.
