New Goals for Next Week, Next Month (May), continue annual goal:

1. No missed workouts....Abs, L, abs!

2. Fewer Carbs in May.  No food after 9pm!  Drink more water!

3. Keep going with mental and physical space organization!

Got derailed over the weekend by a badly timed "on-call" call.  I can't let stuff like that stop me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Goals

New Goals for the coming week, month, year:

1. No missed workouts for the next week!

2. This month: healthy food choices and more water (limit soda to 1/day!)

3. This year: organize my mental space, by keeping my physical space in order!

I'm going to have to enlist the help of my family for Goal #3!  I'm going to try to rope them into Goal #2!

Wish me determination...NOT luck!

Bleh

Started my workout...gave Chalene (not 5) but 10 minutes.  Felt queasy, sweaty (not the good way!) and lightheaded.  Have to stop.  Wish I knew what that was all about!

Back to it tomorrow (or later today?)

Success? Failure?

Strange week...went to dinner for my mother's 72nd birthday,  Partway through my entree, started to get the "allergic reaction" catch in my throat, and a cough...I stopped taking any more of the meal.  The next day (Wednesday) my gut was a mess.  My husband had the same meal, so it wasn't food poisoning.  I think I must have stumbled across something to which I have an allergy.  Not sure what!

Missed my Wednesday workout because of this (Push 2)....Today, I'm telecommuting, so I had extra time.  I got the kids off to school, and decided to try an experiment: I did Push Circuits 2 AND 3.  Right now I feel great, but we'll know better tomorrow if this was a good idea or not.

Time to shower, eat carefully (but thoroughly!) and tackle my work-related work.  It's a working weekend so a modified workout schedule is in the plans!

March Madness

Whew!  Great Push 2 today!  Yesterday was an awful workday, so I needed this today!

I have trouble getting enough protein in my diet...my new secret weapon: Creamsicle smoothie!  1/3 cup lowfat vanilla yogurt (40cal), 1/4 OJ (30cal), 1 scoop of unflavored whey powder (vanilla would probably work! 70cal).  The whole thing is only 140cal, and has about 20gm of protein.  You can't beat that!!!!

I'm also using egg whites (I buy them in a carton so I don't waste a whole egg).  I make omelettes using one whole egg, and a 1/4 cup of egg whites.  More protein, less cholesterol....Yum!

Time to hit the showers....Tae Kwon Do tomorrow!
