Today after one week of being on Power 90 I decided to go ahead and move up to level 3-4. The decision was based on the fact that I wasn't feeling any soreness after my workouts after the first one or two and I didn't feel like I was pushing myself enough. I didn't want to get bored with the workouts. My frustration is due to the fact that I was getting very winded on level 3-4 sculpt and I didn't complete the last circuit. I think I may have just been having a day where I wasn't feeling it as much, but I also feel that I should have been able to complete the workout more easily. Earlier in the year I was working out on P90X and Insanity and now I am struggling with Power 90.
I think my diet may have something to do with this as well so I will be changing it up for the New Year. I haven't been eating horrible, but I haven't followed to nutrition program perfectly during the holiday season either. I also have not been getting enough water intake. I am going to eat better and increase my fluids and see how that does.
I have decided that I am going to end Power 90 one week early in order to start P90X a week early. The reason that I have decided to do that is so I will finish P90X the week before our summer beach trip is planned instead of being on the last week of the program on vacation.
