Week 2 Begins

I started week 1 with P90X and this week will be Chalean Extreme. Today I did Burn Circuit 1 and I am feeling it in my arms, legs and abs (especially the obliques). I used 5lb and 10lb (kettlebell) weights and got an amazing sweat!! Burned 200 calories in all and I'm happy with that. Will have to put together my Firm weights to create 15lb and 20lb weights. Tomorrow is either Pure Cardio or Plyometrics, I'll decide by tonight!!

Day 3 - Shoulders & Arms

Today was Shoulders and Arms and my arms are burning!! I used between 5 and 13 lbs on the bands and really felt it, have to be more organized where the bands are concerned though. I skipped over the breaks so that I could finish sooner!

ARX was alright today although my abs were still hurting from Monday, but that's ok, they're suppose to do that. I did as much as I could today with modifications and my goal at the end of the 90 days is to go full out on every move.

Day 2 Plyometrics

I forgot to blog yesterday but it was Day 1 of Round 2 with P90X and it started out with Chest & Back and Ab Ripper X!! Wow, by the end of that workout my arms were like jelly! I did my pushups on my knees and still felt them and because I have to overhead beams in my basement I had to modify the pull-ups. I think I am going to have to use weights instead of the band where pull-ups and chin-ups are concerned and I will be able to work the same muscles as those in the workout! I survived Ab Ripper X and went at my own pace. I will say I was sick to my stomach halfway through but I preservered.Total calories burned 353 calories

Today, Day 2 was Plyometrics and I will say that Insanity really helped with this because, before in round 1, I was always winded at the end of Plyometrics but today I felt great right after it. Total calories burned 440 calories.

Day 1 Starts Monday

It's been a while since I've written a blog and I think I am going to make it an everyday thing. This way I can stay accountable to myself and to those who look to me for motivation and a little inspiration.

On Monday February 15th I will be starting a hybrid rotation that will consist of Chalean Exreme, P90X, P90X+ and Insanity.

My weight rotations will be P90X one week, CLX on the next, so each phase will have 2 weeks of each. Then I will go onto the next phase. Example, this week I will be doing Chest & Back, Plyometrics, Shoulders & Arms, Cardio Recovery (Insanity), Legs & Back and Kenpo, then the next week will be Burn Circuit 1, Fat Burn Challenge, Burn Circuit 2, Burn Intervals, Burn Circuit 3 and Recharge. This will go for the first month, then I will Change to second phase for both, Push Circuit and P90X (this phase will include P90X+) and then the 3rd phase will be Lean Phase and P90X. I'm sure this will definitely confuse my muscles.

I will be using resistance bands instead of weights!

My eating will be based on the Fat Smash Diet for the 90 days and in that time I hope to reach my goal of 35 lbs lost and a nice toned body!

I'm going to try to update this blog each day with my progress!!
