CXL 1st week behind me.

It's day 8 and well ChaLean is definitely a different workout. Something in your brain says are you serious? Such a light weight. Oh come on...and then you get to rep #10, 11 or if you are lucky 12. Ha!

I'm adjusting to the S-L-O-W pace. So far Burn Intervals is my favorite. Of course I like having TWO count them one, two rest days each week.

Slow Burn

Hello my friends. So I've completed my Insanity/P90x Hybrid, then took a few days of rest before begining ChaLean Xtreme. I thought this was going to be a breeze after Insanity and the X. NOT! It's very different and challenging in a whole new way. I'm loving a day of rest on day 2 WOO-HOO.

OHHHH the Max Workouts!!!

It's Monday night football and I had yoga! I had to pass on the X tonight for a 60 minute vinyasa flow series, but you'd think I would have at least worn purple. OOPS :)

Max Interval Circuit. Need I say more. Day one of month two and I'm beat. STARVING I think it's time to up the calories a little I was toast so early in this workout but still managed to burn 800 calories.

I'm celebrating week two of nailing my nutrtion. It's almost second nature. I'm scared of me:) Stay tuned new pics are due soon.

I LOVE recovery week. Carido Core & Balance is a keeper! I will say hip burners should aptly be renamed body burners :)

Food has been my primary focus. Today was yet another nutritionally beautiful day :)

The weekend is here. I shall soon be planning, shopping, prepping, chopping, portioning and preparing for my upcoming week.

Quest for the nutritionally perfect day!

Half way thorough my recovery  week. I am all over this nutrition piece. It's hard work to eat enough proper calories. My goal is 1500 a day...I've gotten to a high of 1300 in the past 10 days.

Day two of no natrual peanut butter. I did not realize how much of a difference those little tweaks can make.

Everything you do will take you closer or further away from  your goal. I'm currently applying that to my intake.

Eating 6 meals a day with properly balance with protien, fats and carbs (few but some) is exhausting. I feel like I'm eating all day.

Yesterday, I went to lunch at my favorite tea house. Ordered, the hummus with olives and feta (REAL feta), roasted peppers and a side of grilled chicken! It's interesting to now notice wasted calories. Did the plate really NEED the balsamic glaze drizzled all over everything?

Off to fulfill my quest for the nutritionally perfect day.

The workouts, bring it. Four to six ounces of protien at every meal, that's hard work!!!
