The last Hurrah

Well, I am in my last week before my final recovery.  This has been an awesome experience.  My body has changed alot and it has not gone unnoticed.

I think my next endeavor will be a round of Insanity.  There is still a bit more I want to burn off before I reach my goal.

I sure do dig Tony Horton.

Almost picture time

This week is my Phase 2 recovery week.  I was amazed when I reached the last notch on my belt as well as grabbing my smaller pants from the back of my closet.  Hehehe....

I have to start thinking of what I will do after I complete this round.  Perhaps Insanity or a hybrid.  I'm not sure yet.  Slim Series is also a nice set.  I learned long long ago not to let Debbie's sweet smile fool me.

Almost halfway there

Midway through Week 6 and I am digging this!!  I participated in a Heart Walk this past weekend and lo and behold, one I got out of the sea of walkers, I jogged the rest of the way.  Those darned Plyometrics are working!!  The Ab Ripper X and I are learning to love one another....

I didn't get photos at my 30 day mark but I will make sure I do for the 60 day mark.  I noticed my pants are more roomy and that belt is getting pulled tighter.  I don't see much change in my BMI and fat % but I can tell I am shrinking and losing some pounds.

Ready to go

I gotta say I miss my hardcore daily abuse by Tony.  I can't wait to start Phase 2 tomorrow and hurt, just a little bit.  Rest week was no picnic by any means (Core Synergistics anyone??).  I am just excited to kick it back up tomorrow.

Keep pushin' and make fitness fun!

Its only been like...3years

I completely forgot my blog!!

Many ups and downs over the past 18 months.  I lost my Mom in November 09 and then my partner in May 10.  I fell apart at the seams to say the least.  Depression, eating, alcohol, and lots of sleep.  I worked out when I could and had the energy.

I restarted myself this year.  I realized that I had to pick myself back up soon or I was not gonna get back up.  These programs and the folks at Beachbody/Team Beachbody gave off the energy I needed.

After staring at P90X for over a year, I reopened the box, lined up the DVDs in the player and told myself I was starting that next Monday (1/24) whether I liked it or not.  I had a backlog of Shakeolgy in my cabinet and I was going to drink one a day.

I am now finishing up Week 4 (recovery) and can't wait to start Phase 2 next week.  I have seen some preety good changes so far and I feel so much better.

Thank you Tony!  Thank you Team Beachody!
