Still pushing play!!

Just finished CardioX on my third week of P90X Lean...and I feel GREAT!  I have already noticed huge changes in my stamina and physique--and so have my wife and daughters.

Each day the routine pulls the "fat" right out of me, but my ability to keep pace gets better every week.  Thanks, Tony, for developing this workout...it is my all-time favorite!

I've made one subtle change to the regimen this time around.  When I've done P90X in the past, I could never do all of the Ab Ripper X routine, and it was very disappointing.  So this time around I started substituting Abs 100 (from P90 fame) in its place.  Now that I can easily do that routine, I'm going to Abs 200 until I can successfully keep pace and THEN I will go to Ab Ripper X.  My midsection is the most difficult part for me to lose--a lot of "inner organ" fat to burn.  But I'm already seeing a difference!  Can't wait to see how many inches have gone at the next measuring!

Day 3 of P90X...

Just finished one of my favorite P90X workouts...but my shoulder started hurting half-way through.  Old bursitis injury that has to be babied.  Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither will my transformation be instant.  I'm lessening the weights and reps until I have the strength in my shoulder back to speed; that will keep me from blowing it out and having to refrain from exercise.

I appreciate the WOWY invites from buddies!  It keeps me motivated to keep pushing play--even if I can't join you in the gym at the same time, I want to keep pace with your determination.  Thanks for the invites!

Back in the WOWY gym!

I've been out of my normal regimen for nearly 4 months now...and BOY can I feel it!  Had to start back into the routine with Power 90, and it's making me sweat!  Big change after being able to keep pace with P90X for nearly a year.

I'm so thankful for workout buddies that keep encouraging me to "push play."  And I love the fact that my workout schedule can be viewed by anyone now--talk about pressure to perform (in a good way).  Hopefully, my awesome coach (1Superman) will see that I'm back and I'm gonna push hard!

Looking to drop 40 pounds by May 1st...see you in the gym, buddies!
