Here it is. My first official post as a Beachbody Coach!
As a new coach, I think the question I anticipate getting the most is "Why did you become a coach?". And it's a question I'm more than happy to answer.
I didn't grow up as the fit and healthy type. I struggled a lot with weight and eating correctly as I've mentioned in my profile.
But I made the choice to change that a little over two years ago. In fact, I changed my life so much that sometimes I think back at the old me and I can't even recognize that person anymore. That choice has sparked a fire inside me.
I was introduced to my first Beachbody program in March of 2010 by a good friend of mine. He let me borrow his copy of P90X while he was away in Iraq and said that I would not be dissapointed with the workout.
He wasn't kidding.
Half way through the program I was really starting to see results. And I loved the spice it brought to my dull workout routine.
Unfortunately, I had to stop halfway through to focus on training for an up coming half marathon. But the support I had for Beachbody workout programs had already been etched.
The passion that I had already carried for wanting to help people love themselves and live healthier coupled with my now unwaivering support for fitness programs like P90X and Insanity, made the choice to become a coach impossible for me to ignore.
That's why I became a coach. Because I truly care about seeing you achieve your fitness goals. And I believe that these programs can work if you make the choice and commit to changing your life.
I believe in you. I know you can make it happen and I want to see you succeed!
Oh and about the P90X that I have yet to finish... Now that I'm not training for any big races until next year I'm creating an extreme home fitness challenge of my own.
Starting Monday, October 18th I'm starting "Project 150". 150 days of extreme home fitness where I'll complete Insanity and P90X back to back. Follow me, or better yet: workout with me, as we completely transform our bodies into fitness machines!
More details to follow. But until then, get up and get moving!
