I am done with P90X2

yes, I am done with P90X2! Now to take a week off rest and prepare myself for the next set of workouts.

P90X2 was no piece of cake but it was fun!!  I loved the balance challenge which made you work even harder.

So now its time to rest.  Rest is just as important as working out.


Meals - Its not really that hard!

I think that we sometimes over think meals a bit too much and it becomes a major task.  But its really not that hard.  I follow the portion apporach nutrition from P90X because I have found it to be the easiest.  You just choose food items form the list and make your own meals.  It can apply to any ethnic background. All we have to do is substitute with whole grains or whole wheat, red or sweet potatoes instead of white, brown rice instead of white...etc..

It doesn't have to be expensive either.  Buy store brands.. Most of them as just as good as the name brands and you can save a ton!

Don't let the nutrition get to you... Make it simple!

Oatmeal/Whole Wheat Cookie

I made this wonderful cookies for the third time already!! Love it.

It is made with Oatmeal, Whole Wheat flour, raspberries, nuts and semi-sweet chocolate, among other ingredients.  You can change some of the ingredients to be raisins, white chocolate, dark chocolate or other nuts. It is very yummy!

Week #3 of P90X2

I am doing great!! Love the new program and already am able to balance well on the medicine ball and stability ball while lifting!! so exciting!! I can't wait to see improved performance on many of my other exercises!!
