Satisfaction From Motivating Others

I have a colleague who has been overweight for a long time.  He lives alone, commutes a total of 3 hours a day and is devoted to his son from a previous marriage.  His life is mostly about hard work and sacrifice.

We've talked on and off about his weight for a couple of years.  His doctor said his health is in serious danger if he doesn't take control and lose the weight.

Last week, he finally got motivated to change his life for the better.  We spent a solid hour talking about his motivation for getting healthy, what to eat, what exercises he should do and more.

Although I'm not a health or fitness professional, I lost 65 pounds with Beachbody's help and that certainly qualifies me for talking about my own experiences.

Yesterday, he cut out the crap and ate clean food - skinless chicken, brown rice, brocolli.  He did Sean T's 5 Minute Abs (I lent him my DVD).  He made a log of his body weight and measurements and he's filling in his profile.

I am so satisfied from helping another human being find the road to good health.  I want to share this feeling with anyone that's listening.  We can take control of our lives by simply eating the right foods in the right amounts and exercising on a regular basis.  It's not rocket science all the tools are right here.  All you have to do is make the commitment, make a plan and stick to it.

I have a similar story, and I have enjoyed helping someone else do what i did. I released 65 pounds last year and Barbara became my first client, it is so cool to see her transform over these past six months since I became a Coach. Good for you!
