Tough, but doable ~ as is everything worth accomplishing in life.
Getting these new leather Asics were a great idea (I have always worn mesh to keep my feet cooler). I was hoping the leather would support the ball of my foot better (during Insanity my foot moved side to side in the shoe during the lateral moves), so.... I highly suggest leather shoes for Insanity and Asylum, there was a noticable difference today.
I was happily surprised with my agility and with my ability, but it is a very humbling experience and by no means is this going to be a piece of cake.... and this was just the fit test. My warm up sucked, noticed my cardio isn't as strong and my calves burned during the jump rope section ~ that's what happens when you take a few weeks off of cardio (didn't help that I came down with tonsilitis during that time).... but, it's alllll good and I am ready to take it on!
Also, thought I would mention... I'm working out on a carpet and the Beachbody Plyo mat ~ my hands would slip on the carpet during certain moves, just wanted to make you aware. If anyone has an idea on how to avoid hands from slipping on the carpet, please feel free to share. The plyo mat isn't large enough to accomidate the ladder and the bear crawl.
Have a wonderful Friday and..... Ciao!!
