P90X at last!

I initially started with Power 90 and Slim in 6 programs, going back and forth between the two.  However with life getting in the way I never finished either one.  I seemed to get about 2/3 of the way through them and "something" would come up and I would get away from my routine, but I was never away for too long...just didn't complete the journey...until this year when on June 21, 2010 I decided to commit and succeed with P90 and since I was familiar with it I just did the 90 days with 3-4...DONE!!!  Now, I started P90X on Sept 27, 2010 after completing P90 and the 1st day Chest & Back was challenging to say the least.  Now I’m about to do Plyometrics on my 2nd day.  Ok, it’s official…Plyometrics kicked my ass but I got through it and I’m moving on to Shoulders and Arms.  This is only day 3 but I am focused and motivated to do!  Shoulders & Arms was the “easiest” so far and looking ahead I think it will remain the “easiest”.  Tomorrow is Yoga X and that should be an interesting 90 minutes.  I still haven’t decided if I’m going to get up a little earlier than normal or wait until after work.  I’m thinking since I’m a morning person that I’ll just get up earlier and crush it!  Stay tuned!  Well, Yoga X was definitely interesting to say the least!  It was challenging, awkward, invigorating, relaxing and calming.  Yea I fell out of many of the poses but I was also surprised (pleasantly) with how flexible and co-ordinate I’ve become since beginning this journey starting with Slim in 6 and Power 90.  Next up is Legs & Back…Wow!  I knew this was going to be one of the more difficult days and I was right, but like the rest of the DVD’s, I pushed myself and got through it.  Let’s just say my thighs are talking me.  I had to do the Ab Ripper X after work because it was just too much for my upper legs right after the initial workout but like everything else…it got done, maybe not all of them but I did over 300!  I’ve been looking forward to Kenpo X since I started, I took Kenpo years ago and enjoyed it so this is one routine that I’m really excited about!  Just finished my 1st round of Kenpo X and loved it, once I get used to all of the combination moves it’ll be a better workout but Tony was right…that hour flies by!  Week 2 was good but I slipped and missed 2 workouts back to back (Yoga & Legs & Back)I didn’t want to get into the mentality of “I’ll do it tomorrow and tomorrow never coming!  Been there done that, so I jumped back in with Kenpo to finish the week.  Today is the beginning of my 3rd week and I’m ready to rock n’ roll! Here's my latest update...I've completed the first 3 weeks and am preparing for week 4...Yoga, Core, Kenpo & Stretch...should be great!  I'm looking forward to it and will add morte as my journey continues...By the way, it is a beautiful thing when people notice changes about how you look!

Thank you! It's amazing what you can do when you "get your mind right" and every day you build on the day before as you get stronger and healthier.
