Everything had gone well. I had gone from 388lbs in November of 2008 to 282 in November of 2009. It was a great ride! November 6, 2009 was a day that took my life for a spin. I began having very substantial headaches and did not know what the cause was. In November of 2008 the doctor had told me my headaches were associated with my weight and that I could be prediabetic. The headaches went away for a year but when they came back in Nov 2009 they did not stop. After a few tests we found that I had a pituitary tumor. The headaches were emense and I remained in bed and out for work for about 5 months. January 11, 2010 I had surgery to remove the tumor and have healed completely. I'm not at the point where I am struggling to deal with my weight gain of 40 lbs. It's time to hit play and do it every day. I will lose this weight and I will set an example to those around me. i will become healthy again.
I told my brother, who is in the army, that for every day he was deployed to Afghanistan I would work out. Today is day 4 and I have approx 361 to go ;-).
