Day 3 of Insanity is done...and WOOOOW... Let me just say, I'm walking around like I have Shaun T.'s foot shoved up my a$$... and that's probably cause I do. He is kicking my butt!!! I am the sorest I have ever been from a cardio workout! It's incredible. AND, I slept like a ROCK last night!
Yesterday was Plyometric Cardio Circuit. Phil (my boyfriend) burned 861 calories in the 40 minute workout! I know, CRAZY! I burned about 1/2 that. I think it has to do with Phil having more muscle and being in better shape than me, but I'll get there! Today was Cardio Power and Resistance. Phil burned 835 calories doing this workout, and even had to sit some of it out! I definitely didn't complete all of it, but I gave it my best. I'm curious to see how we do the next time we do these workouts. Tomorrow is our rest day--I've had to rearrange the schedule a little to accomodate bowling league. But I'm SOOOOO glad to have a rest day tomorrow--it's much needed!
I've had pretty good deficits the past couple days--about 1200 & 1300... I'm hoping to lose about 25 pounds (minimum) within the next 60 days of Insanity. Following Insanity, I'm going to do ChaLean Extreme, and then a second round of Insanity to bring me into the summer :) I think this will be a great plan as long as my eating stays the way it should. I'm working hard on it.
Tomorrow is my rest day, as I said before. I plan to stretch in the morning, and walk at lunch. Bowling league is an OK way to be active too. I just have to especially watch my diet tomorrow.
Time for bed!
