Sunday, Day 3

Today is day 3 for nutrition, so far so good.  I have been trying the Zone "block" method, it's super simple and works well for me.  It's hard to over complicate it.  Tomorrow is my first day back at work after almost 3 weeks off, I know I will be dragging by this time tomorrow night, I let my schedule get really messed up, staying about 3-4 hours longer than usual and making up those hours, by sleeping longer.

Tomorrow starts the Lean Phanse of CE, I have expanded my workout library, so I will be able to hit different workouts each week, still messing w/ the rotation to see what feels best, w/o being to much.

January 2nd

Today is day 2 on nutrition, feeling pretty good.  Got all my water and nailed my food.  Caloric intake was down to 1,200, right where it needs to be for this program. 

I have decieded to put the fitness portion off till Monday, that is when my life will get back to "normal", it will also give my body a chance to adjust to the lower caloric intake.  Our vacation will be over this weekend, I can take this last day and make sure all my equipment is ready to go and my workouts are all planned out.

I also will be planning out my meals for the week and making sure I have my food for the first 3 days all made up, those are the days I will be working.  For me a plan is crucial!  I also will be making my Shakeology as my (2) snacks, splitting it, that way the calories fit in w/ the program, instead of adding.

New Year!!!

New Year, new me.  Goals

1)  Nail nurtrition, I am going to figure out how to make food work for me.

2)  Body fat is going to drop into the teen's

3) I am going to reach my goal body!

4) I will post my weight weekly & measurements and body fat monthly.

I definately have gotten much stronger over the last year, and I have no doubt put on muscle, however, I haven't found the right caloric balance to get my body fat down where I would like to see it.  In taking my weight and measurements today, my body has grown, in every measurement I took, not what I was looking for.  I want to get smaller, leaner and tighter. 

New year, new approach, I will be starting the year w/ 12 weeks of ChaLEAN Extreme.  I have found by lowering the weights I use, and really focusing on form, I am much sorer, and truely feel it more than before.  I will be slowing my reps down, not getting caught up in the "number" on the weights, and really work on mastering perfect form. 

By making food work for me and nailing my workouts, I will be able to reach my goals!

November 17,2009

I have been working out really hard.  Last week marked the end of phase #2 of P90X.  I did Burn Intervals and realized how much I had missed the lower body work.  So, Monday marked day 1 of CE.  I am really focusing on nutrition and toning up that core band, hips thighs and abs.  I now realize how important nutrition is and I am determined to keep on course!  This last 6 weeks to the end of the year are going to be my best!!!  I am setting my goals each week, they seem to be more manageable for me and will get me where I want to go.

November 10

Ok, so I started this week w/ determination to really eat like I want it!  I don't mind working hard, everyday as long as it takes.  I decieded to bring my nutrition up to match my fitness level.  I know when I do this each day my results are going to be amazing! 

I spent most of the day Sunday buying and preparing clean eats for the first couple of days of the week.  Even tried to broaden my horizons and tried brussell sprouts again.  This time they were ok.  Having that food ready to grab and go has been  God sent.  It really is the key to success for me.
