Continuing On

The last few weeks have been hard and my workouts have suffered. Sometimes they are hella intense and at othertimes weak...depending on the emotion at any given time.

In less than two weeks I will be up at the Oakland Raider's Training Camp in Napa, California. I am glad I am going up toned, defined and in-shape. It makes me wonder...what if I were like I was over two years ago...30 pounds heavier, tired and feeling awful. No doubt, I wouldn't even go.

But, the upcoming camp is giving me the drive to workout hard and eat clean (Shakeology is a big help there as it curbs any cravings). So I will be in tip-top shape when I step on the field.

I hope it will take my mind away from the sadness, the grief, the pain--and help me transition. Having a tremendously strong support system has helped--I guess whether it's losing weight, amping your workouts, or just getting through tough times--good peeps are mos def important.
