I've worked out at least 4 days a week and some weeks more since August. My goal is to go into the Wowy Gym 7 days a week, or exercise even when I'm not able to log in, everyday for the next month. This may sound extreme, but i don't do well if I skip days, b/c 1 rest day turns into 2 and 3. I do best if I take 1-2 days of easier workouts as rest like stretching, easy bike rides, swimming, or walking. I love how working out everday makes me feel physically and emotionally. I'm more energetic, positive, and able to handle stress better. In fact I have depression issues and fatigue if I don't exercise, so the need to exercise is not optional, but crucial.
Today I did my workout in Wowy at 6:40. I did Ab Jam and Turbo sculpt, then later in the afternoon at 2:15, I took the dogs for a walk out in the cold & wind. It was only about 40 degrees, Burr! Winter is here already. So weird since we were in shorts last week and still using the AC. Everyone is in shock. Because Winter is setting in I've been gearing up to fight against vitamin D Deficiency by going to the tanning bed. They just put one in 8 miles away in the next town so I'm excited to not have to deal with SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) this Winter. I also found out that the sunlight through the eyes gives you vitamin D as well as Maletonin. That's why I try to make myself go outside even though I work from home and am tempted to be on the Desktop Computer all day. That isn't healthy and it's not productive if the lack of sun makes me tired as well and effects my sleep too. So tomorrow I making an appointment for the tanning bed. I won't go crazy with tanning, I'm fair-skinned and burn easily, but will get just enough to get the vitamin D and Maletonin my body needs. With actual sunshine, that's 20 minutes a day from what I hear, but tannign booths of course are more intense.
I've been sleeping so much better since getting back to exercising. Now if I could just resist the temptation to stay up too late, I would do even better and be healthier still. I want to go to bed the same time as Steve, since he's good about getting to bed by 9 so he has to get up at 5. I could spend a few minutes with him in the morning too. Exercise helps me balance my life in every way. I plan on praying more regularly in the morning before starting my day too. Obviously, working out is creating motivation that I didn't have before.
Tomorrow I'm writing up my success story with Turbo Jam since Beachbody asked me to. I've been seeing more consistency in my business too. I'm a Beachbody Coach and I have other businesses that I run from home too. I'm able to focus on really offering people value since getting back on track with exercise because I'm more rested as well as more confident. I love helping others with their work outs and I've been inviting ALL my Buddies to workout every single day in wowy. Many appreciate the notes of encouragement and I get a lot out of the emails too. I can stay on track better just knowing that there are people counting on me and also I have so much support here on the Beachbody site myself. I've been using the Cool Down Chat at every opportunity too. It's so fun to go in and see people that have become my friends in there and to be able to learn from them and offer help myself. I feel like I have a family here and it's growing all the time!
