90 Days Till My Birthday Committment

Ok, well, as of yesterday, October 24th, it's 90 days to my birthday on January 24th. I will be turning 48 years of age and have committed to being in the best shape possible by that time.

So, a couple of things:

1.) I'm completely cutting out any and all alcohol from my diet during that time. I'm used to drinking a glass of red wine several nights a week with my dinner. But no more, with the one exception that if we go to our favorite, expensive Indian restaurant here in Portland for my husbands birthday the end of November I will allow myself a glass or two. But other than that, absolutely no wine or alcohol.

2.) I am sticking to the 1400 calorie a day eating plan and keeping my fats/carbs/proteins balanced accordingly.

3.) I am working out six days a week with a one day break. Right now I will continue using Hip Hop Abs, which is an awesome workout and I'm seeing great results with. And tomorrow my first shipment of Shakeology arrives, so I will have the workout dvd's that come with that, as well. But I want to work up to moving into P90X. So, that's my objective.

I don't really know how I want to measure results, at this point. I _do_ definitely know I plan to be in a size 7/8 and mostly want to work on my muscle tone and definition. Weight loss is secondary, since I know muscle is heavier than fat. And I have plenty of fat to lose and muscle to gain! So, I'm flexible on the weight part.

I'd LOVE to have a few people supporting me, holding me accountable and helping me track my progress!
