Seriously Need To Update My Blog Here!

Geez! I haven't written in this blog for AGES now! So, I'm pretty excited to report that I'm 68% of the way to my ultimate weight-loss goal! By following a High-Raw eating plan and working out with BeachBody I have successfully lost and kept off over 30 pounds of excess weight over the past year, which THRILLS ME! I'm really looking forward to seeing my own six-pack abs and Brazil Butt, though! Trust me, I still have plenty of work to do to get to the fitness level and muscle tone I'm looking for...BUT I know without a doubt that I will continue to slowly and steadily lose the remaining pounds while firming and toning and building the muscle I crave! So, that is a great place to find myself!

I would love to help you do the same thing! Let me know if you want to join me on this path to health and fitness!

Ok Gang,

Well, I promised to write an update this week so here it is. My weight has maintained these past two months. So, I haven't lost any more...but I _have_ lost another half inch off my waist and another half inch off my thighs. So, that's good. The "After" picture on my profile (also the lowest one in my photo collection if you want a closer look, lol!) was taken today. So, as I look at my photos from September vs. today's pic I don't see a whole lot of difference...except perhaps definition...which I DO think is coming along.

I have to admit...I haven't really tried THAT hard these past two months. I've been working out pretty consistently...but getting into the "every day workout" routine is a bit of a challenge for me after being mostly sedentary for so long now. I also have to say that a BIG part of my obstacle to working out every day is getting 30 minutes where I know I won't be observed by hubby or our 18 year old son while I'm doing my workout. Seriously, I feel like I look like a spaz doing my Hip Hop Abs workout...even though I LOVE it! Still, I don't like the idea of people walking into the living room while I'm doing it because I feel so self-conscious. Sooo...my plan is to get Power 90, which is what I have been working up to, anyhow. Somehow I feel I'd look like less of an idiot if I'm just doing a workout where I don't need to appear as "cool" as Shaun T doing hip hop moves, lol! And Power 90 is, in my mind, my next step to moving towards P90X, which is my longer-term goal.

So, that said, I feel I _AM_ making progress. And I'm happy that I'm maintaining my weightloss over time and not regaining.
