Dan Feliciano, as a road warrior (Strategy & Lean Six Sigma consultant), it is easy to eat poorly,not exercise and subsequently, gain weight, and get sloppy looking and feeling. Also, my wife and I were looking for an activity something/anything that we could do "together" long distance. Taking into consideration my desire to workout and my desire to do something with my wire, we looked for a workout product that could realistically be done from a hotel to help me stay in shape and equally as important, be done with my wife. You know, share a common interest... give us something new and exciting to talk about and yada... yada... yada So we bought P90X. And all I can say is, "Wow!" Since starting P90X, I have lost 13 lbs and feel tremendously more healthy. The results have been absolutely amazing. My wife and I completed one round of P90X and immediately started another round. This has become a lifestyle of us. Things to keep in mind and summary of improvements: I'm a road warrior and most of the 90 days of my first round of P90X were spent working out in hotels. As a road warrior, I eat out a lot... and it's very challenging to eat well while on the road but, it can be done. I have young children at home ranging in age from 11 to 4 years old. Many people use their children as excuses not to work out. I missed very, very few workouts maybe 3 during the first round of P90X. We even worked out while on vacation at Disney World. I had a partner, my wife and I did the program together, when I was home. There are a thousand reasons NOT to work out... none of them are valid!!!! NONE! If I can do this at 46, you can do this, especially if you're younger. I have NO regrets!!!! Lost 19 pounds BODY FAT % IMPROVED from 26% to less than 19% Improved my reach by MORE THAN 7 inches, Yes, 7 inches!!! (thanks to yoga x and stretch x) Lost 1.5 inches in waist (I had to have all my suits taken in) Lost over 1 inch in hips Gained 1.5 inches across my chest Biceps gained .75 inches Resting heart rate improved from 64 to 60 Blood pressure 98/52 Heart recovery rate after 1 minute 32 beats 50% increase in pull ups >50% improvement in push ups >150% improvement in In & Outs
