FINALLY!!! Fit into my size smaller jeans!

Yesterday was a milestone for me.... I bought a groovy pair of white denims that were in the next smaller size and put them out for me to see each day...right as I walked out of my bedroom they would "encourage" me. They stayed out for me to see so long I wondered if I would ever get into them and stopped trying after awhile.  In fact, they became more of a "taunt" than anything else. (That is why I covered them with a blanket for a short time so I wouldn't feel like a FLOP!)

Yesterday, wanting to wear red and white for the season and look good for a luncheon I'd be attending where 100 people could see me going through the Buffet line, many know I am a "BEACHBODY COACH"... so I feel some pressure to LOOK like I take care of my body (which I do).

I reached for them not believing they would fit. Nearly put them back down so I would not be disappointed (again). But they fit beautifully with just enough "slack" to look like they were made for me!  I knew I looked good at that luncheon... and it gave me added confidence to know my body is changing and becoming better and stronger and more the shape it was meant to be!

So, how do you feel you fit into yor clothes?  Do you have three sizes "just in case".... I would love to know how others feel about this, so fell free to comment.  I love hearing from you!

Best Accountability YET: Becoming a Coach Myself

I love this community and if it were not for my Buddies keeping me accountable, I might have fallen off the wagon several times.  Ever so thankful that I stepped up to become a TBB Coach, it made me dig even deeper and raise my internal bar of expectations.  Thank you Carl Daikeler, who made this possible (with help from many amazing collegues and business partners, of course!) and Thanks, Team Beachbody for such a great group of caring supportive people!

MOVE with Body Gospel and BUILD with P90X

Someone told me that working out twice a day was too much, so I took that advice and lived to regret it!  I was told to stick to one program and I took that advice, and lived to regret it. I followed my instincts and listened to my own inner voice and combined for a better fit for me! Finding what fits for YOu is the key, and Body Gospel starts my day off on the right foot... I feel like I have been to a dance party, and I like that. It gets my heart rate up, gives me the cardio I need due to my particular metabolism.  In the evening, when I have plenty of stored glycogen, or whatever, I schedule P90X2 or other extreme body building program and can take E&E before and R&R after... settled down for a good sleep and rest and recover feeling like I am really taking the correct path for me.  I like this combination.  Wonder if other people feel the same????

Get on Board the P0X & P90X2 Train with me!

Posting my accountability on the Message Board "Get on Board the P90X & P90X2 Train" because I am committed to finishing P90X2 and know accountability is a KEY!  Come join us there if you are seekig a solid support group...Start date 12/29/2011.

It's different in a few major ways from the original. Instead of 3 months of basically the same workouts on different schedules it's broken into 3 phases. The first is Foundation (Core/Balance) for 3-6 weeks. Then you move up to Strength (more like the traditional X) and the final phase is Performance (Scarey!!!).

There is a new Ab Ripper with some really cool moves (bicycles done sitting up). Tony does more warming-up. He uses stability balls and a foam roller for the warm-ups! I did X2 Yoga today and it is 67 minutes but seems to move quite a bit faster than YogaX. I've also noticed he doesn't do as much time explaining the moves. It's harder when you're learing the workout but I think I'll like not having the "down time" of waiting him to finish once I know the moves.

Body Gospel is off to a bumpy beginning, but we are going!

Well begun is half done, says Mary Poppins.  However, in this case, why put off till tomorrow what you can do today! Our Group was wobbling and wavering and wanted to begin in December, but why put it off another day??? We began where we were, did what we could and forgetting the rest!  We already have first week results that are looking promising.... Planning to finish the year STRONG !

Now when December comes we will be equipped and familiar with the program and how to work Shakeology into our lives.  Well, it has been in my life for 30 months, but for Newbies it is a transition.... just learning the recipes and Michi's ladder and how to schedule time for exercise when your schedule is already full.... REMEMBER how it was when you first started working out, especailly if you were one of those who had to lose more than 50 pounds like me!!!

After losing my weight, I play basketball for an hour with energy to spare... and I mean play, not sit on the bench!  But in the beginning I could not go to the mailbox in our neighborhood without huffing and puffing!  So, beginning a life changing program is a Challenge in itself, so I changed Body Gospel into a 60 Day, rather than a 30 Day program... one round to get it really going good... a second Round for fantastic Results and new ingrained habits.

Look for promising Results to be posted as we strt into 2012 fitter and healthier... ready for a new Challenge!
