Exercise Keeps Life Well-Balanced

Beachbody Training has developed in me a sense of what can be done despite other demands, and has shown me that fitness helps keep everything balanced, and contributes to the accomplishment of all personal goals including work and family.

Fortunately, I have learned how to accomplish more in less time, with energy left over, growing stronger rather than fatigued, and gaining a sense of emotional well-being from having physical energy and body strength. The results of my car accident showed me what it feels like to be handicapped, weakened, breathless and exhausted. It cracked both my shoulders, broke my sternum, cracked six ribs and my scapula (along with multiple bumps and bruises) ...... and emotional strain added excess weight rapidly.

A broken sternum meant that physically my life was literally at a standstill, I developed pneumonia, and after that complete laryngitis make it impossible to speak!

This accident gave me an appreciation of what many people go through every day as a result of their debilitating obesity and shortness of breath associated with obesity.

I still have pain and nerve damage, and only once in a rare while does it make me want to scream! Exercise is a powerful pain killer. Amazingly while I am working out and for a long time after my workouts, I have significantly diminished pain. I feel that given enough time and with continued exercise, I will rebuild what was damaged or get to a point that it is negligible pain and therefore tolerable..... another great reason to PUSH PLAY!
