I decided to start blogging again because the thread I was posting in died, and I need to hold myself accountable for my workouts and my nutrition.
Three weeks ago, I was laid off of my job of 10 years. I went through the normal sadness/anger/depression bit, and now I'm pretty much at acceptance. The good thing is I have a package that allows me time to figure out what it is I really want to do with the rest of my life, besides getting fit. I'm looking into becoming a more active coach, but I'm really not feeling it. Maybe once I find out more I'll be more excited about it, but if not, no biggie - it's not for everybody.
One thing I am happy about is sticking to my fitness and nutrition goals. Now, more than ever, it's important for me to take care of my health. I love TurboFire, and it's really helping me keep out of the depression doldrums that can hit after a layoff. Today was Fire45EZ/Stretch 10. Nailed it and burned a ton of calories. Now it's time to go over to Sam's Club and stock up on some frozen foods, Woodman's for the other things, and then head home for prepping some healthy foods. Time to become who I could always be.
