P90X-A-Thon Round 1 DONE!

YAY!! I finished round 1 for this year and finished strong!! Started round 2 on April 3rd. I'm trying a P90X/Insanity Hybrid workout this round but sticking mainly to the X. I hope to gain more strength this time around and a lot more endurance/cardio stamina, hense the addition of Insanity.

Is there any one out there that wants to join me? Come say hello on my msg board:

P90X-a-thon

Ok, So... I've decided to try to do 4 rounds of P90X in a row...that's one year worth of P90X-ing!!! I am starting on Jan 2nd, anybody want to join me?

Theme Song this week will be: That-that-that-that don't kill me, can only make me stronger... harder, better, faster,stronger!!! haha I just hope I can move tomorrow!! Also learned a hard lesson today...we ate BEFORE the workout and nearly YACKED!! Blech! Won't do THAT again!!

Update Mar 24, 2010: That is STILL my theme song!! hahahaha I've learned many lessons over the past 2 years... how to eat, what to eat to repair muscle, best times to work out, etc. I have come a LONG way!! I am SOOOOO strong, so fit, so healthy and oh, so HAPPY!! :D

Exercise

Well I enticed hubby in to doing this with me today by telling him he'd probably kick my ass since it is plyometrics and he has very strong legs. However, since I am somewhat of a runner I did just as well with less glute pain than him. He didn't like the workout much but I loved it!! My upper body is in ALOT of PAIN today!! Can't straighten my arms past 30 degrees and outside of left elbow hurts like a mo-fo!! I will ice it today. Abs are sore but not unusually so. I think legs will be hurting pretty bad later as well. How I am supposed to do Arms and shoulders tomorrow, I have no idea but I will get up and push play anyway even if all I can do is watch it.

 

Update 3/24/2010: geeze, I don't even remember that elbow thing, I guess it was nothing. the amazing thing about P90X is the fact that you can somehow still do the next workout, even though you can hardly crawl out of bed. I still don't get how that happens (?) hahaha

I really miss being THAT sore though!! I don't really get sore any more. If I switch things up a bit or add an extra workout in, I feel "worked" but it's not really soreness. I kinda miss that though.
