Two weeks to go in the saddle.

I think it's sort of funny and serendipitous that I am writing my next blog entry with two weeks to go.  I have come real far.  The most impressive indication of my improved health and fitness has seen a 6% reduction in my bdoy fat within thirty days.  I'd love to know what it is now but I recently moved and my scale is still at my parent's house.

I feel so good!  I missed a few days here and there but for the most part I have exercised nearly every day of every week if not every day of every week.  My eating has been sensible and well-proportioned.

There may be two weeks to go in P90X but I am nowhere's near being finished.  I'm going to do it again.  I will also be giving P90X+ and Insanity a shot in the next few months.

Two weeks back in the saddle

The most interesting thing so far has been the fact that while I hardly exercised at all from the end of July through the beginning of October, I didn't put on any weight.  My tone was gone, thats for sure.  And my belly felt like it was getting bigger.

My eating habits were uncontrolled there too.  I was spending money on lunches, like subway but I'd go to Wendy's or BK on somedays too.  For the past two weeks, all I've had for lunch has been the Chef Salad from the P90X nutrition guide.  For dinner, nearly all the two weeks I had the chicken breast w/ quinoa and sugar snap peas.  Breakfast was either an egg white omelet with mushrooms, tomatoes, green onions, and low fat cheddar or a protein shake.

I didn't miss any of the in-between meals which is the recovery drink and a protein bar before lunch, and pistachios and beef jerkey before dinner.

Cooking dinner for the week is turning out to be a good idea right now too.  I'll make a batch of that honey chile sauce, cook up a bunch of chicken breasts and save 'em for a weeks worth of dinner.

I am really looking forward to the third week of X.  I can already see and feel differences in everything.  This has been so much fun.  The message boards are great!  I'm in a thread called Fitness For Dummies.  It's a great place to meet people and ask for help if  you need it.

I feel an inner struggle recruting.  I may be to aggressive with it.  I really like telling people the business opportunity but I should probably just work out, make that priority number one.  Offer suggestions when asked but don't tag your website each time.

Business cards are a different story.  Mine were printed today, and for some reason, Staples printed the Beachbody Logo, along with the words, Indpendent Beachbody Coach.  My name, phone number, website were all missing.  Plus, there was a line going down the side of the back of the card.

I am a little upset about this whole business card ordeal.  On Monday I'm going to a network marketing event and it will be a great chance to socialize and meet people on similar programs.  I had my card made in time for the event.  Luckily, the young 'en behind the counter said he'd try to have them done by Sunday.  I'm going to have to call and stay on top of them to make sure they're ready for Monday.

So anyway... I am happy to be back and looking forward to my progress both as a Beachbody coach and as a fitness fanatic.

Back in the saddle again

P90X... I sort of finished my first round.  Here we go with round 2!
