Today is the day I start my 90-journey of INSANITY.  I just did the Fit Test and I'll post the results at the end of this blog.  I just ran a half marathon yesterday with my twin sister and it was awesome.  I ran my first one back in May of this year, and I told my twin if she wanted to run one I'd run it with her to help her through it.  She did fabulous!  I was so proud of her.  I wasn't as sore as I thought I'd be; however, after sitting at a desk working all day my legs became stiff/sore so it was nice to do the fit test today and get loosened up again.  I'm excited for this 90-day challenge.  I really want my old body back, and of course I'm not going to complain if I lose more than my goal!  Bring it, Saun T!

Getting back to my original numbers.  I LOVE INSANITY!  It's the best workout there is.

I started the first 30 days again for INSANITY.  My goal is to make it through all 60 days!!  I saw a lot of improvement in the first 30 days and so I can't wait to do it again!!

 

A Little Bit of This...A Little Bit of That

Today I started INSANITY again.  I took a few weeks off due to an IT Band issue, but hopefully I'm heading down the home stretch.  It only hurts when I run.  I've taken 2 full weeks off, so hopefully it's healed.  I did my third Fit Test today, and I'm in my last month of INSANITY.  I wish I could have kept going, but I had a 10-mile race to train for and then was training for the Half Marathon that I had to sit out.  My results are:

I was hoping it'd be a little better results, but I'll just have to work harder and get back to where I was when I stopped INSANITY.

10-Mile Run

I ran a 10-mile run on Saturday, March 27, 2010 and it was awesome!  I didn't train very well for it, but thanks to INSANITY, I made it the whole way!  My time was 1:34:00...that was a 9:24 mile....which for me, I think is awesome!  I've never ran 10 miles before so I didn't really know what to expect, but I was just hoping to run every mile under 10 minutes....goal accomplished!!  Bring on the half marathon on May 2, 2010!
