Reality: Our bodies need a certain amount of fat for vital functioning. It helps slow the aging process and satisfies hunger for long periods of time. The key is to replace the unhealthy fats in your diet with healthy fats such as those found in olive or canola oil!

Starching Hamstring

Several excellent literature reviews have found that starching both acutely and chronically increases R.O. M at the target joint.  This holds true especially for the hamstring complex, probably the most studied muscle group.

Suggested stretch protocol progression: SMR>static>active>NMS/PNF>dynamic.
