One Month Left!

I'm finishing up my Recovery Week in the 4th month of my Turbo Fire challenge. I am very thankful for these recovery weeks. As my body recovers so I can move easier into my last month of this program, I am thankful for Chalene, and all the other BeachBody trainers that have taken the time to make these wonderful programs that include not only total body strength-trainining and toning, as well as cardio workouts, but also recovery weeks that get us refreshed and more flexible. A shout out to all these wonderful trainers, and to BeachBody who has brought them together for us. 

Loving Turbo Fire

Today I finished my 8th week of Turbo Fire... I love this program so much!! It's improved my heart and strengthened my abs in such a fun way. I love telling others about this program, especially since she also features something that no other program has - a 9-week PREP Schedule for those who aren't yet quite ready for doing the full-blown 20-week Turbo Fire. I highly recommend this program to everyone who has the desire to lose weight and be fit.

Second day of Turbo Fire

Today I did HIIT 15 and Stretch 10. The HIIT 15 was very intense, yet lots of fun. It's awesome to do this type of interval training! As Chalene says, "your workouts don't have to be long, as long as you are willing to make them INTENSE". I aim to get my heart stronger through this 5-month program. Loved the fact that we finished with the Stretch 10; these deep stretches for 10 minutes, which stretch every part of our body are so needed. =) Turbo Fire rocks!!

My new 5-month challenge has started!

I'm so excited to have started my Turbo Fire challenge, that will last 20 weeks, t.i 5 months. I did the first 2 classes today - Fire 30 and Stretch 10 and they were absolutely fabulous. Fire 30 is a wonderful cardio, though the moves are quite quick so it gave my mind a good workout as well; it's good that Chalene has the "New to class" option where she breaks down the moves! I love the 10 minute deep stretch in Stretch 10 after doing this cardio. It worked every part of my body, including the rotator cuffs (which most other workout programs don't focus on), and I feel fabulous and energetic. I am going to truly LOVE this challenge and look forward to these next 5  months of routines.

Staying on Track

 

I lost weight and have kept it off, getting fitter every day with BeachBody fitness programs. Love exercising from home with programs that are fun and effective!!

By eating healthy now (as opposed to eating a big chocolate bar everytime I went to the movies or down half a box of powedered sugared donuts with my brother at night or going to McDonal's for a hamburger and fries) I also feel so much better! No longer to do I get severe migraine headaches or stomach cramps, nor so I suffer from allergies. That's a deep relief. I will continue this lifestyle for the rest of my life!. 

 

However, it's not easy. I have the tendency to gain weight, t.i. body fat, very easily. I have to be very careful to exercise 6 times a week and make sure I eat healthy, or else I will go right back up. The weight creeps up so easily, it's just crazy!! Thank God I have BB workouts to do all the time, or I'd truly be in a lot of trouble!
