P90X2 & Les Mills PUMP

Happy New Year!  I started P90X2 on January 2nd with 100s (maybe 1000s) of other Beachbody Coaches and customers!  Phase 1 was very different than what P90X grads are used to.  There was much more balance and lots core (which will make Insanity fans happy).  The balance while lifting takes some getting used to, but I noticed a definite improvement each week of phase 1.  I am looking forward to what lies ahead in phase 2, but for recovery week, I’m going to be something a little different.  Rather than alternate between Yoga and Recovery & Mobility, I am going to take this week to demo some of the LES MILLS PUMP workouts.  I will start tomorrow morning with PUMP & BURN.  I tried to invite you all to join me, but my computer bugged out and lost the buddy invite.  I wish there was a way to just invite all buddies, but since there isn’t, I’m not going to scroll through all that again!  Hope to see some of you in the SuperGym in the morning!  Have a great day and enjoy the football games!!

Balance

The big challenge for me in the summer is balancing the Beachbody workouts with the triathlon/duathlon training and the competitive tennis season.  Ideally, I would like to do two workouts a day, and then everything would be fine.  Unfortunately, life gets in the way- day job and all that!  So, one has to find to balance, which usually means that a 30 day workout program actually takes 40 days!  Of course, that being said, I have not gotten a decent run in for quite some time.  Sadly, I think I am going to miss my Shaun T fix for few days while I catch on some miles.  I did manage to sneak one in today…and I’m sure I can one in tomorrow….   Ah, it’s a slippery slope!  Balance is the key.
