Do Over Done!

To say that I am overextended is an understatement.  Period.  But I probably think that the most when I seem so overwhelmed, which is how I am feeling now.  Simultaneously, I am trying to work my behind off, continue on with the great results that I got from the Ultimate Reset by learning more about conscious eating and get back into great shape - not to mention raising 7 and 5 year old daughters and finish up the homeschool year.

The three weeks of the Ultimate Reset were a total high with great recipes, great supplements and great support from Beachbody.  I didn't do it to lose weight, but I lost 4 pounds of fat.  When I finished I felt better than I have in years and I improved the time on the only workout that I really did during the Reset (running twice a week) by a whopping 11:00+.

Since the end of the Reset (actually the day before) I did 35:00 of Insanity Max Interval Circuit, a 42:00 run on Wednesday and then Chalean Extreme Lean Circuit 1 yesterday for 30:00.  Today I am doing a 40:00 run.

Gotta run - literally - and always, I will try to be more faithful to keeping this journal up to date in the future!

Do Over Day Three!

I can't say enough good things about the Ultimate Reset, but the only way to know what it can do for you is to try it.  If you click on Shop above, a link will pop up and you can click on it to learn more and try it if you choose, risk free.

So far the meals have been excellent and easy to prepare and there is a schedule to take the supplements on.  In the first week, which is the Reclaim week, you take Mineralize, Oxygenize and Optimize three times a day as well as Alkalinize in the afternoon.  All of them work together to start to reclaim your body before you start the Release week which gets rid of all of the built up toxins in your body.  I can't wait for next week!

I have a Facebook Group dedicated to the Ultimate Reset and my challenge to change.  It's an open group, so you are more than welcome to join it - https://www.facebook.com/groups/191257664323769/.

Do Over!

Well if I only post once a month, it will take a lifetime to show all of the gratitude to Beachbody product development and Team Beachbody for all that they have done for me.

I do have Facebook groups that I post in multiple times a day and my website to share that gratitude, but this is my personal journal and I need to personally thank Beachbody.

For what today?  For Ultimate Reset Day 1.  I am getting a reset, a clean slate, a do over in life and I simply cannot be thankful enough that for the next 21 days I have the opportunity to remove built up toxins from my body and to restore it to what it should be right now.

Thanks, Beachbody, for giving me a new lease on life!

Devotion in Motion

A lot has happened in a month. Improvements in my overall health play a big factor as well as my back at least not getting any worse.  What is the best thing that has happened, though?  Accountability.  I like to call it "devotion in motion" - being devoted to a Buddy or group of Buddies and sticking to your workout plan because you are committed to being in the SuperGym at a certain time and being there no matter what.

It works!

Even though our scheduled time is 5:00 am, I haven't missed a workout, nor have my wonderful Buddies. I've noticeably lost some fat in my midsection which I had never had before and my "glamor muscles" as Tony Horton calls them have gotten nicely "noticeable".

I highly recommend "devotion in motion" to anyone who wants to effectively reach their goals.  There is no doubt, no questioning yourself whether you should work out or not and no guess work - just be there for your Buddy or Buddies and get the job done every day!

Getting out of my comfort zone

It's easy to get into a routine and a schedule and do just those things that we are accustomed to doing.  I was guilty of that, but today was different.

I never felt like Chalene Johnson was bugging when she always talked about using a to do list, but I never listened to her either.  Now that I have created one, though, and put colors to it and made it pretty and complete, I depend on it every day to keep myself not only accountable but to see how many things I can get done in a day no matter how whacked out my schedule gets.

With both girls at home and homeschooling then, Tuesday especially is not a good day to get off schedule or to add more things to do or have to do more things.  Last night, though, I got it into my head that I had to use an under utilized blog of mine to share the benefits of The Beachbody Challenge and Challenge Packs, even though every Tuesday I also sent out my Team Beachbody member newsletter.

Somehow, I just got the blog done and got the newsletter out and had a good class day with the girls, too.  Yes, I was out of my comfort zone, but now I have expanded it and the next time a day like today comes along, I won't have to go out of my comfort zone because it was "enlarged" today!
