P90X Lean Phase 1

 

Today is the last day of the recovery week and P90X Lean phase 1, later on tonight. I’ll complete X Stretch and then take the measurements of weight and inches. I noticed through-out cardio X I am able to recover faster and continue the activity through the plyo section of Cardio X. Core Synergistics is hard yet fun. I do enjoy being able to get just about everything from chest, abs and thighs covered all in 1 workout. Engaging the core muscles really help keeps everything in line while doing the lunge reach sequence. I really like lunge and reach, it targets the mid section (obliques, upper abs, lower abs and the back) all in one. I’d like to keep going longer, but the exercise is only about a minute or 2 min long or so.

 

While doing P90X Lean, I revised my meal plan just to make sure my calorie intake is on target, it turns out my caloric needs is about 600 calories less than what I should be consuming. So if I wish to continue P90X I need to consume more calories. But how? I work full time and I have a very busy schedule. Thus I’m not able to eat the required intake. It seems like I’ll have to stop P90X and start another program that will work with the calorie intake that I currently take due to a busy schedule. I’m already replacing dinner with a shake because by the time I get home and get the child settled, do some homework and work out, it’s time for bed. Well, it looks like I will have to switch to ChaLEAN Extreme since I’m able to fulfill the calorie intake requirements.
