I'm getting antsy! Baby #2 (baby girl this time), is due 3 weeks from tomorrow. Hopefully she'll come sooner, but regardless, I'm ready to start Weight Watchers and get into exercising. I know, I know, I've been bad. No exercising while I've been pregnant. I could make 100 excuses, but I won't. I'm just happy that I feel motivated, and I don't feel that attachment to food like I used to. I've only gained about 20 pounds with this pregnancy, so I feel good about that, considering I started out "overweight" per BMI. I'm guessing I'll be 190-200lb after I deliver, and I'd like to be down to 160 by summer. That brings me to goals...
1. Lose an average of 2lb/week, so long-term, hopefully I will be down 40 pounds in 20 weeks. That'll bring me to July 19th (20 weeks from March 1st).
2. Stick to Weight Watchers, focusing on limiting processed foods while eating more lean protein, fruits, and veggies.
3. Drink more water, A LOT more water - at least 64oz. per day.
4. Exercise regularly, using Turbo Jam, KettleWorx, Chalean Extreme, and TurboFire. I'll break this down into more specifics later. I haven't decided how I'm going to start up, but I hope to make weekly goals as soon as the baby starts. I'll probably start with walking for a week or two, then transition into Turbo Jam 20 minute sessions for a little while. I'm getting anxious to start Chalean and TurboFire, but I know I'm going to need to be careful, or I'll set myself back rather than make progress.
I think that's it for now... If only she could come tomorrow...
