Well it took me a long time to complete my first round of P90X. So with muscle confusion in mind I took an extra long break from the program. To be honest, this was a very tough month. I wanted to workout a lot but I only got a hand full in. :-( Not to beat myself up, but to understand that the idea of working out EVERYDAY is not "part of me" yet. I will get there. Thanks to Beachbody I am on track.
As for my eating during this last month? Well I ate clean for the most part. But I had to endure a month long celebration at work. All kinds of treats were available EVERY DAY. I was usually strong in the presence of my coworkers. But sometimes at the end of the day I would walk into the office tired and hungry only to see CRAP waiting for me. So I had good days and some days full of CRAP. But I won't despair because I have P90X waiting for me. "It won't be long before I am fully on track again". What does "on track" mean to me: Eat Clean, Workout everyday, sleep, drink a lot of water, and keep thinking that my body will use fat for fuel.
My goals for this next round are ambitious. I will loose 20 - 25 pounds of fat. I will become much stronger and have much more stamina. To celebrate I will be competing in a sprint triathlon in July. I have also scheduled a photo shoot with a photographer, so I can show off how Beachbody changed my body.
Soon it will be time for my annual physical (blood tests). I want to postpone this appointment as much as possible. Why? For pure shock value. I will wear a Beachbody T shirt or tank top for grins.
Anyway, the weather is getting better so it is time to wear less clothing. If I work hard and diligent my dream will come true this summer. Walking around on the beach (or swimming pool) without my shirt on and proud. The fear of changing my shirt in public will be replaced with pride. Hopefully not too much pride :-)
Well thanks for reading this. Stay motivated and healthy. Remember that everyday you will have the chance to become healthy. It all starts with your desire and determination.
Cheers to health,
Ken
