Chalenes 30 Day Challenge

Just started Chalene's 30 Day Challenge and I am loving it so far. What a great way to start the new year. She really breaks it down, if you have trouble setting or keeping goals (and who doesn't!), this is a great way to get started. Thanks, Chalene! Week 3 of P90X

I am currenly in week 3 of P90X and loving it! Getting a lot of my strength back and feeling great! I love pullups! (OK, so maybe I am a little weird, I have always liked pullups!)

It's a good thing to have goals and daily workouts planned this time of year! With the holidays facing us, it is so easy to get sidetracked. That is not going to happen here! Thanks, Beachbody for giving us WOWY so we can be accountable for scheduling and actually completing our workouts every day!

Anyone currently doing P90X somewhere near the beginning? Love to have you as a workout buddy in WOWY!

Getting ready for P90X

I will be starting P90X on Monday, Nov 2nd. Anyone want to join me? I will be doing the Classic version. I've been getting ready all week with lots of weightlifting, pullups and pushups.  I will be posting some before pics and doing my grocery shopping for the meal plan this weekend. I'm ready to "bring it". Would love it if I can find someone starting this program next week!

Only two more days..... I have new abs!

I know I should have blogged before now, but only two more days until Insanity ends for me. It has been a great 60 days of workouts! I do the fit test on Sunday and will post my results for that as soon as possible. My abs have changed considerably. Shaun T knows what he is doing! You do very little actual ab work, just Cardio Abs a couple of times a week at the most. It is his attention to using moves that work the core and the constant coaching to keep the core tight that actually get the results! I know for sure that I have lost 1 inch off my waist and my hips! Awesome!

 

Insanity....nearing the end!

It is Sunday and I am thinking about the fact that I only hae two more weeks until Insanity is completed! Wow, the time has gone very quickly. I think my biggest change to date is in my abs. Who would have thought that all of that cardio could give you that big of a change in your abs? I am thrilled! Tomorrow is Max Cardio Interval, the most challenging of all the workouts for me. 59 minutes of pure torture! Gotta love it. Will be posting before and after photos from Insanity in two weeks.......gotta make these last two weeks count! Anyone else out there almost finished?
