Yesterday I did the fit test for Insanity, and I feel great.  I am psyched!!!  I have done several rounds of P90x, and One on One.  Now I had to ask myself, what comes NEXT?  I saw the advertisement for Asylum, and I was motivated to learn about the Insanity products.  I read some blogs about the program, and I was a little intimated, so I decided to start with the original Insanity.  I love P90x, and it has done wonders for me, but I was in need for a change.  I will do the 60 day commit for Insanity, and then I will try Asylum.   After that I will complete another round of P90x.  This will fill up 180 days, and Hopefully by then the next version P90x MC2 (or whatever it will be called) will be available.  These workouts are the best.  I frequently go to the gym, but I just do not get the same results as I do utilizing these Beachbody programs.  Maybe its my own fault, but that why I keep pushing play.

On a side note.  I usually make somewhat of a hybrid diet for myself.  I follow the idea of the nutrition program, and try to keep in its spirit, but with my job it is a little difficult to follow.  I eat approx. 5-6 times a day 300-400 calories each time.  Following this works and is crucial for me.  My point about this was I read the Insanity meal guide, and decided to try one of the recipes.  I tried the Protein Pancake.  This is a nice change and easy to make.  This motivated me to thumb through the guide a little deeper.  I will try additional foods in there.

I have never written for something like this before so I am not sure if this is interesting or not, but I will check in from time to time and let you know how progress is working.
