I am sore! Really sore, i have pushed myself this week and I can really feel it right now. Today is my rest day and I still got up and did 40 mins of cardio. Im addicted! Yesterday I took a spin class as a supplement for my kempo and today I used the elliptical machine. I used very light restitance for both in an attempt to flush the lactic acid from my body I will take it easy today and if Im sore I will take tomorrow off and get back into things Saturday, we shall see.
I haven't noticed a ton of weight loss yet. I have lost about 4 lbs over the past 2.5 weeks but I can see a difference in my body and I can certainly feel it. I've been told that the shock of starting a new program like this causes a few things to happen before you see it on the scale. You retain more water initially and in addition to adding weight with all those new muscles, those same muscles have been torn and are swollen as they repair themselves. I hope to see myself down at lead 7 lbs by the end of the month. I am confident this is a realistic goal. Wish me luck! :)
