Well I'm not on a routine, but I have been working out. School started back up again, and even though it took me forever to get home in the snow (!!!) I still worked out and then ate dinner, which I am very proud of. I'm slacking and only doing 10 min work outs, but I feel that something is better than nothing, right?

My eating habits are ok. I have been trying to eat more protien and less carbs. Although, I cheated today and got some chexmix out of the vending maching at school. It's hard when its there and when I see other people eating bad. I think why can't I eat unhealthy if they can? It's not fun.

My long-term goal is to run a half-marathon in September, but I guess I need a short-term goal for my long-term one to even work. I would like to work out 3 more days this week. So, between wed, thrus, fri, sat, sun I need to work out 3 out of the 5. Lets do it!!!

 

 

 

it's a challenge

My goal has always been to be fit. The problem is I want the easy way out. Sometimes I get really modivated and start a work out program, but then I start making escuses for why I either don't want to keep going or don't need to.

Today is one of those days where I feel very modivated and am making a plan to work out. I keep telling myself it doesn't need to be hard. I keep saying just eat less and move more. I guess there will be somedays when I don't want to move, but I'm just going to have to push myself.

My ultimate goal that I made is to run a half marathon Sept. of 2010. I made that goal because of watching the biggest loser. If a man who use to be 450 pounds can do a triathalon then I think I (5'7 and 160 pounds) can do a half marathon! I just need to get on the right track and thats the challenge. Well hopefully today is the day and next week when it does get hard I just need to remember my ultimate goal and that Sept. will be here in no time!
