Knocked down by illness!

Got a touch of a bad cold last week, and was completely out of commission!  I'm feeling a little better today, so I started the day off with Slim in 6 Ramp it Up.  An oldie, but always a goodie for me.  Slim in 6 was my absolute first program with Beachbody, back in 2004.  Yes, I've been with BB for that long!  Lol  I leave for my Caribbean cruise in exactly 7 weeks, so I've decided to do Slim in 6 (SI6) for the next 6 weeks, to whip me into the best shape I can get to in 6 weeks time.  SI6 is definitely NOT the most exciting workout, it's actually borderline boring, but the proof is in the pudding.  Nothing for nothing, SI6 works and I know that from experience.  The hardest thing I will face during these next 6 weeks is fighting the urge to not do SI6, because it bores me.  I'll have to push through those feelings and get it done.  Looking at my old before/after pics when I did SI6 in 2004 should certainly do the trick for me - snap out of it!  Lol

Dropping the pounds

Well, I would have never thought that using a site like myfitnesspal would help me so much and make such a difference in my progress.  It really does pay to monitor what you eat and how much of it you eat.  It's also equally important to make better food choices and use foods that will FUEL your body, as opposed to bringing your results down.

In the 2 weeks since I've started using myfitnespal, I've dropped a total of 7 lbs.  This is so MAJOR for me, because for months, my weight would not budge.  I would workout regularly, but the scale would not move, or I would randomly gain weight.  To FINALLY see my weight start to come down is bliss.  And I'm not starving myself either!  I eat!  I usually stay between 1600 - 1700 calories a day, depending on the workout I do.  And on the days that I don't workout, I eat 1500 calories.  This plan is working like a charm, and for the first time in a very long time, I pleased.  :)

Noticing changes - Yes!

After catching a glimpse of myself in the mirror, I can honestly say that I am really noticing a difference in my body already, especially my lower body.  Go BBL!!!  That program is literally kicking my @ss, so I'm glad to see my hard work is paying off.

Today's workout was High & Tight (killah!) and FE Cardio.  I am beat!  Just drank my protein shake and about to start on some house chores.  My job is never done....Lol!

1st week down!

Well, I completed my first week of my BBL and FE hybrid schedule.  And I am happy to report that I didn't miss ANY workouts!  Its a great feeling to see all the days crossed off my calendar showing the days I worked out.  Yay me!!

I'm also still going strong and using myfitnesspal.  So far in 4 days, I've dropped 4 lbs!  What?!  Guess it pays to pay attention to what I eat, and how much I'm eating.  Umm, yea!  Lol

Anyhow, I feel great and I'm excited to see where this journey will takes me.

High and Tight!

That's what Leandro is trying to make my bum bum - high and tight!  My arse is still so sore, that I could only do BBL High & Tight this morning.  No cardio afterwards.  I may get the cardio in later today, but it did not happen this morning.  I should do some yoga because I'm feeling so stiff.

Onward, onward....
