Don't Do Weight Loss on Your Own-Get Support

Weight loss is much easier and you can lose a lot more when you have support.  When you have people supporting you it helps increase your motivation and will power.  A group of coaches and I are starting a group to help our customers lose weight, stay accountable and create a great transformation. 

The group starts on Sunday, April 10th and we will be doing weekly calls where we answers questions and challenges you have in losing weight and then we will be giving practical advice on how to succeed and get the best results. 

Our goals is to help willing, determinded people like you come together in friendship so we can strengthen one another through daily accountability and weekly check-ins.  We will set you up with an accountability partner who you can call, text or e-mail to help keep each other on track.

The Transformation Team-Who We Are

I am a part of group of coaches here at Beachbody called the Transformation team.  I love our group of coaches and feel like there is nothing like it that I have been a part of before. 

The reason our group of coaches is so special is we really differ from a lot of what I see happening other places.  We have an amazing dynamic because we have formed friendships and built relationships with each other.  We all know each other and our strenghts and weeknesses.  We all have something different that we bring to the table so we are one really strong team. 

I love our team because we believe in not only transforming your body but transforming your life.  I think that to make big changes in your life not only comes from physically transforming but transforming your mindset and way of life as well.

Minneapolis Fit Club-Kids Workout This Week

This week is going to be a ton of fun at the Minneapolis Fit Club.  We are switching it up from our usualy workouts and doing something fun for the whole family. 

We are going to be doing Shaun T's Fit Kids Club this week so this is a chance to come out and bring the kids and have a fun time.  This is a great way to set a good example for your kids by showing them that fitness is important and it can be fun.

How to Get The Willpower to Lose Weight

You can lose weight if you set your mind to it!  Are you ready to take action and achieve the body of your dreams?

The biggest barrier you will face is actually your self-discipline and willpower.  You may have fallen into a vicious cycle.  The cycle starts with eating a poor diet, full of fats, carbs and processed foods.   These are the kinds of foods that make you feel tired and rob you of your energy.  Then, because you don't have the energy you don't feel like exercising.   So the cycle leaves you will no willpower and no desire to workout.  This will leave you feeling misserable and hopeless. 

There is hope because it does not have to be this way.  You can make the change.  If you really want to lose the weight you need to first stop this cycle and find the willpower to make it happen.

Here are some things you can do to build up your willpower and make this happen.

1. Don't Wait For Something Bad To Happen.  Your willpower is within you so don't wait for something bad to happen to start making changes.  You don't want to wait for some major medical crisis and then react to that.  Learn to be proactive and take the steps you need to right now.

2. Watch Your Portion Size.  You can start small here but start transitioning to smaller portions of the foods you enjoy eating.  You can gradually cut down until you are eating the right size portions.

3. Give Yourself a Cheat Meal.  Let yourself have foods you like once a week.  It is much easier to know that you can have something you like once in a while rather than knowing you can never have it again.

4. Take Pictures.  Motivate yourself by taking self portraits.  This can help motivate you in the beginning by wanting to change what you see.  If you keep at photo taking every 30 days when you are making changes it will motivate you keep going because you will see changes in your body.

5. Set small manageable goals.  Set goals that you can manage and are not something you can't achieve.  If you set unrealistic goals it will leave you disappointed and unmotivated to keep going.

By focusing on smaller more attaninable goals you will actually see results quicker.  Remember to reward yourself for a job well done.  If you can get the willpower to lose weight you can get through pretty much any challenge in life.

I am Getting Healthier, Happier and Richer

If you know me at all you know I love feeding my mind with postive affirmations.  It may sounds silly to some but to keep your mind filled with positive thoughts really does make a difference.  Here is an affirmation I love for being healthy.

I am getting healthier, happier, and richer.

I am faithfully following a work out regimen. I enjoy working out and being healthy because it is good for me.

Cultivating healthy habits is one way that I can show myself love and appreciation. My Creator is honored when I take care of the body he gave me.

I am eliminating foods that contaminate my body. By watching what I put into my body, I am creating a consciousness of what I eat.

Because of these healthy habits, I have more energy and stamina to do the things I love. My family reaps the benefits of my new lifestyle.

Every time I replace an undesired behavior with a positive one, I find more happiness. My life is also becoming more disciplined.

I can achieve everything that I want within the confines of a 24-hour day when I make good use of my time.

Being aware of my health has raised my awareness of other areas in my life.

I am finding value and joy in the smallest things in life. I am putting on my gratitude glasses in order to clearly see how blessed I am. As a result, I am blissful.

My life is replete with blessings. My life's saving's account is overflowing with surplus joy. I have more than enough happiness, grace, and peace.

Taking care of my body is an outward representation of the way I care about my heart and spirit.
