Ooohh Weee...My Very First Blog Entry!

Well, here it is just 2 days before Thanksgiving, and I am about to embark along with everyone else on the dreaded "Eat Fest." OMG...all those yummies and goodies set before you can make a blind man see.

I for one am baking 2 count'em 2 Chocolate Pumpkin Pies on Wednesday to bring with me and hopefully, I won't eat them both on the way.Just joking of course -- c'mon now....

The plan is to go to my dear friend's house and feast Southern Style on some of the best home cooking I have ever tasted bar none. My friend can cook lemme tell ya!

It is my goal to...though how many of us have said the following and don't tell me you haven't at one time or another, "...try not to eat too much, drink too much and then go back for more..." I'm sooo guilty of that. Who isn't right? It's the "Holidays" after all and calories don't count right? WRONG!!!!

Look, realistically, we are going to eat our faces off and we all know it. Here's the real challenge though: get back on track as soon as you can. Go back and do your workouts just like you did before perhaps adding a couple of extra bends, stretches and reps here and there so you feel a bit better about all that cheating you just did. Restart your meal plans and stick with them, until the next Holiday which of course is Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanza. Try to eat in moderation if at all possible (Yeah...right. Who the heck can resist all those yummy homemade Christmas goodies dangling in our faces. But I digress LOL).

You can enjoy the Holidays people; you really can IF, you remember that when it's all said and done, it's about going back to your routine (eating healthy and exercising) so that even if you lose some ground, you will be able to regain your momentum with a little focus and dedication.

In the meantime...HAPPY TURKEY DAY EVERYBODY!
