Day 5: Hubby may be jumping on the P90 bandwagon with me!

Day 5 work out is done for today. Did sweat 1/2 and my hubby did it with me. I can tell he struggled, but so did I. He's done it before and I know he can do it again. He threatened me with, "and you think I'll do this when your traveling??" I hope he does, or at least some activity. He had such great results last time. I know it will make him feel better if he works out. It does for me. I feel so much more energized (usually). I'm very tired today, didn't sleep well last night.

Still eating well.
Bkfst today was 1c cottage cheese and 1/2 c fresh raspberries
Snack will be a strawberry protein shake w/ flaxseed
Lunch grilled chix sandwich w/ mustard, avacado, tomatoe, lettuce on multigrain bread
afternoon snack pear and cheese
Dinner halibut, rice, asparagus

I stuck to it yesterday and plan on sticking to it to it today. I haven't been hungry at all!! I need to quit steppin on the scale every day though as it is discouraging on days like today when it goes up .4lbs when I know its just water shifting and muscle mass building!! Its still discouraging.

I'm planning on a treadmill run when I get home today if I feel up to it. I love running, but have been out of it for so long, I'm trying to ease into it, as to not upset those darn shinsplints. So far-fo good. Plus, I dont want it to get in the way of my sleep tonight. We'll see. I had grand plans to go tan yesterday evening, but ended up playing stratego, checkers and chess with my kids. It was totally worth it!

Day 3

 I really want to change my eating habits and my lifestyle. I love working out, just alway have problems getting started. I remember how much energy I had when I've consistently worked out in the past including when we did P90, even though we were getting up early. Energy for the kids, housework emoticon, my husband emoticon, all kinds of things!

I am one of those people who has to set small goals and reward myself. My hubby and I have been wanting to get a new tattoo for quite a while (we'd like to get the Kanji symbol for faithful), so we decided once we are both 15lbs down from where we are now (it will take me longer than him) we are getting them! But before that, I have set two small goals/rewards. If I stick with P90 for the whole first 7 days, I'm going to buy one new workout outfit and if...when I lose 10lbs from where I started (only 4 more to go), I'm getting myself a pedicure-its springtime, this is very much a motivator for me.

My day went well. Hubby left this am for work and wont be home until tomorrow night, which stinks. I slept in a bit, got the kids up, took one of their friends home, went to church, shoe shopping for one child, grocery shopping-I created my custom meal plan through beachbody and printed out my shopping list-how easy is that! (which brings me to a side note, I HATE how shopping more healthy is more expensive and my fridge is FULL but I don't feel like I put much into the pantry-which I guess is to be expected). Made an excellent (IMO) dinner tonight of grilled salmon, brown rice, steamed broccoli. The kids didn't do too bad. One ate the salmon, one ate the rice and one ate three helpings of broccoli, they didn't touch the other stuff though. So... they had cereal and canteloupe and yogurt. I told them to get used to the new dinner ideas.

Sundays are my cheat day for Soda, and I bought a bottle at the grocery store, but didn't even finish it. This is a big deal for me, I used to be able to slurp down a 44oz fountain soda like it was nothing. Today it was 4 bottles of water, 2 glasses of milk and about 12 oz of soda. Not bad.

Shortly after dinner, I went downstairs and Pushed Play on Sweat 1/2 and ran 1.2 miles. I forgot how much that Ab Ripper killed me. I can do the first eight not too bad, but once I get to the bicycles and the full body crunch, I'm dying! emoticon But... Day 3 complete for me! I found my tape measure, so will be updating my profile page with current stats and pics soon.
