New Approach - #1 Goal Injury Free

This is has been an absolutey fabulous year -  10 day trip to CA (BB Summit/Up Coast/ 5 days in Yosemite/ 2 days in San Fran)  -  Another long weekend to Boulder CO!  Awesome...

Lots of new adventures - started SUP - LOVE It!   Even took a hand drumming course - FUN! Now that the kids are grown lots more time for me pursuing my passions and time with friends!  WONDERFUL daily meditation practice... ahhhhhh

My son graduated from college and daughter is finishing up her MEd in Special Ed! 

In July I started a year long program - Institute for Integrated Nutrition and ABSOLUTELY Love it!   Last month spent a weekend in NYC - Keynote speakers were Deepak Chopra,  Dr. Hyman, Dr. Furhman!  AMAZING!!  Have made some amazing new friends!   Totally love the holistic health approach!  Have some huge goals re corporate wellness - thinking BIG!

The only place I've been struggling is the workouts.... which has been so great for over 20 years... In 2010,   dr found i had achillese tendonitis... I took time off... and felt better.. but EACH time - I came back with HIIT Intense workouts and reinjured it...

SO week before last I decided my #1 goal is making it through a rotation INJURY Free!   This means NO HITT workouts... and going way down on my weights!   IT was a HUGE issue for my ego... I was way down on wights (but my form was great and I felt good)...

So today I start week 2 of CLX - I am throwing in a day of Chaleans Dynamic Yoga...  Will post weekly ... to see how I"m doing!

I think this experience makes me a much better coach - its is not always about pushing as hard as you can... and I NOW understand how hard it is coming back...

New Year ... New Program

Gotta say 2010 was a grear year !  Full of family, riends, adventures, growth, big focus on personal and spritual development, ahhhh balance...  and a new job going well

Fitness has been back burner - but that's ok - allowed that sometimes!  Was set back a lot with achillese tendonites - slowly getting back..

Right now I'm doing Rev Ab/BBL combo - for now it's perfect!   After than may do a CLX/TF program... maybe a round of X!

Focusing this year on beachbody more and getting out of hibernation mode coach wise!

Anyhow time to go workout!! Will post more SOON!

 

Week 4 of CLX TF

Feeling SOO much better ... week 4...

It's taken a lot more effort to be back to where I am Looking forward to and Loving my workouts...

Hurt my heel and found I have some bone thinning from my dr... so that has taken me back a bit.. But I'm back and going strong..

TF 45 is def my fave.. LOVE the music - so energizing.

Trying to get into a morning routine on the days I do CLX.. Not quite there yet...

Will be am for HIIT and pm for CLX...

Thinking I may do another 5 day inferno for week 5.. want to loose 5 -8 (goal) lbs ..

K .. time for HIIT 20 then BC1 - week 4 - oh yeah!

GREAT week of workouts I am totALLY loving TF -

the Interno eating plan was GREAT ---- feeling it by day 5 .... and had some popcorn at movie night with friends..

LOVE the workouts - music is amazing... 2nd time i chose the louder music

"boom I got your boyfriend boom I got your man" catchy

Worked out hard - but NOT the OMG I'm gonna die of Insanity (which great for others was not for me)

Today is a rest day and then week 2 of the CLx and TF!   READY!!

Over 50 and soon to be AGAIN SUPER FIT

Yesterday STARTED Turbo FIRE -  Inferno!

LOVED IT!!!!  The music is SOOOO motivating!

TIme to get back - super fit!   Working out for 21 years now... with a few exceptions - weight was always with in 5 lbs....

Have focused so much on the other aspects of life - spiritual, emotional, intellectual - focusing on family(kids are the MOST important - even at 21 and 24- LOVE them more than anything) , friends (have the greatest!!), career (TOTALLY loving in - database marketing - social media - integrated campaign and analysis) - Interests (hiking, cooking - YES after all these years), home (decided to stay here - LOVE my location - currently redoing my bedroom in a beach theme), fiances (coaching helps - and only 1 more year of college), even dating!

SOOOO what's happened... for the FIRST time ever at over 50 - was giving in to the AGE thing.. I was good ENOUGH for my age - doesnt really matter anymore being superfit....i'm JUSTOK ...

BUT- I am not a JUST ok... person...

After a number of attempts... I find myself 11 lbs over  where I have been for the last 21 years... after about a month of working out... and 2 weeks of ChaleneEtreme I am ready to BRING IT!!!

Have all my food for the INFERNO!   Was hungry late  - so had some celery... Up early today - time to meditate Then BRING IT!!!!
