The summer goes on....

We have not really had too many hot summer days this year, here at the beach it has been overcast and rather cool....Bummer on one level but awesome because I can get in my workouts without dying from heat prostration.  Today I did P90X one on one Stretch and recovery...Very difficult but really nice.  Yesterday I was driving for at least 5 hours so the yoga was a welcome workout for me...boy was I tight from all that on my touche time yesterday, but the workout stretched me right out...I so cannot wait for the P90X MC2 to come out...since one on one is so cool and as far as I hear it MC2 is taken from those workouts...this is going to totally rock.  Anyway I need to go get to work but thought I would stop in and talk to my current and hopefully future friends here on my blog....Keep the workouts going!  Let's rock wowy everyone!

Had a great workout yesterday....

Went to the gym and got my butt kicked by my trainer...I really like to idea of having a trainer, but I lack the time or money to see one on a more regular basis.  That is why I love Beachbody workouts, especially P90X and the precursers to it...It is challenging and Tony pushes me to do my best, not by being there with me, but by helping me out on days when I don't quite have it with modifications, or by example...the way he pushes himself is very motivating.  Seeing the results of friends and other coaches is also motivating...when I am having a lazy day I go and look at profile pics and say...you know I can look like that, and that sends me right to my workout room to work on it.  I hope everyone has some sort of routine that can help them lift that hand and hit the play button, because after the DVD starts there is no turning back....just seeing Tony on the screen all ready to go just draws you in and makes you want to join them!  I hope you all join me in pushing play!

Another day another workout....

Do you ever have one of those days when you could just so easily skip a workout?  Yeah me too.... I used to tell myself I'm not into now, no time, no ambition whatever and I would promise myself I'll do it later...Guess what later never comes.  Kids get home or just life in general get's in the way...These are the days I opt for shorter more to the point workouts, as least this way I know I did something and can feel good the rest of the day knowing that I participated in my fitness,  I can usually get back on track within a day or two and get back to my regular workout schedule, just know that you don't have to do monster workouts everyday for them to work....you can have more mellow days....Those are my days to use programs like Great Body Guanateed or 10 minute trainer...and then there are the days that I am just flailing along and don't know what I want to do, those are the days that I mix it up....make it fun...I have a vast library of workout videos so I just take pieces from several and do them....today as an example I did some P90X stuff (arms) with some rev abs stuff (Abs)  with some great body guaranteed (stretching)  mixed in...was fun...and 3 different teaching style's is interesting...so just know even us coaches havetricks to get through on days when...well we would rather call it in....how do you do it?

Nice to be home!

So nice to be home Vacay is always fun but sometimes it is harder to stay motivated to get yourself up and workout, well I did good, for my...53rd birthday my husband suprised me by planning a secret trip we ended up in  Florida, thinking ahead I tossed my P90X DVD's and my workout bands into my case.  I made it a priority to get up every AM and get my workout in.  I feel so much better that I totally didn't flake on working out since I was on vacation.  I also feel good that I did not gain an oz...woohoo the point of this blog is just to tell you all!!!! It can be done...so even when a workout is maybe not easy...it is soooo worth it...So keep pushing play!  Coach Rosed

Day after 4th of July....

Hope everyone had a great holiday...it was crazy here with Kids and Grandkids running around...Love it...We had a nice healthy Bar B Q and played with kids all day into the night...Before anyone arrived I got my Shakeology drank and did Legs and Back + Abs workout...wanted to counter act any calories that thought they might stick around....We all had a wonderful time and me especially knowing even though I had a ton of things to get ready, I took the time for my workout....It just makes it all so much better.  Today I got up and since this was my day to see my trainer I had my shakeology and then set to work wiping waist high and under finger prints off of...well everything....then headed to gym to workout with my trainer Mark, who BTW is also into P90X ....we did some P90X moves as well as some P90X2 stuff....wow who knew doing push ups with your hands on balls would be so challenging but cool....we also did push ups with one hand on ball and one on floor and switched ball hand with each push up....wow....very cool and very...KICK YOUR BUTT!...I totally love mixing it up...then we finished up with Ab ripper action...modified it a bit because I am having old lady back issue's....Bummer....But I feel awesome right now...pumped and ready to go!  So how was your Holiday????  Coach Rosed
