last minute trip to CareNow

late last night I decided to get sick for one last time before my big day!!! Can't breathe, nose is completely stopped up and ears swollen. Just left CareNow (after a 5 hour wait) and luckily I do not have strep as they suspected, but a nasty sinus infection. Probably the same one I had a few weeks ago that never really cleared up. They gave me tons of drugs, none of which will probably start working as early as 6am tomorrow. A steroid shot right in the butt that will really smart after 20+ miles tomorrow. I'm happy that it isn't the flu or that stomach bug that the kids both had, because those would have been NO Go's for running.

Wish me luck because I am still running that darn race tomorrow!
