P90X week 4 Recovery week review

Week 4 Recovery week, better known as core focus week.

Week 4 started out great for me. Monday I got my yoga in felt great. Balance poses still are my nemisis.  Not my favorite workout but my body totally needed it.

Tuesday CoreSyn- Went well for the most part. I really struggle with the Chatarunga Runs. I did attempt it unsuccessfully and ended up doing plank run instead. One day I hope to be able to be successful at these.

Wed-I did Kenpo and thats where my week went down hill. I went to Home Depot to buy 1 gallon of paint for my office. I did self check and grabbed the paint off the scanner and a side angle and the paint pulled my left arm down. I must have pulled a muscle or pinched a nerve or something.  A few hours after I did this I could barely lift my left arm and was in tons of pain. Took some motrin and heat pad and took the rest of the week to do light stretching and rest my arm shoulder. So I missed 3 workouts this week. (yoga, core syn and stretch)  Hope that I'll be able to be back on track for Monday and The start of Phase 2. :/ slightly frustrated at this point!

Nutrition- Still trying to keep at about 1700-1800 calories One Shakeology a day as my morning meal or snack.
